Cosi began as a small restaurant in 1989 in the heart of Europe. The café was a warm, inviting spot where people liked to go for coffee, conversation, and of course, a great sandwich. A few years later, Cosi opened their first restaurant in Midtown Manhattan.

Today, Cosi is a 3000 square foot premium convenience restaurant that offers menus full of fresh, flavorful foods and beverages for breakfast, lunch, afternoon coffee, dinner and dessert. A hearth oven prominently displayed for our customers produces a fresh crackly crust flatbred throughout the day that is the platform for all our sandwiches.

The people that truly enjoy our restaurants on a regular basis are Upscale Suburbanites (all ages), Metro Elites (all ages), and 18-34 year olds without children. These are adults who seek better tasting, innovative, higher quality food than found in other quality, convenience restaurants. They care about the kinds of experiences they have, how they look, where they live and shop. They pay attention to fashion, style and quality. They are people for whom paying a slight premium for something better is not only expected, but also reinforces their choices.
