ELSENHAM company Babyprints is investing in a major marketing initiative by exhibiting at the British & Inter-national Franchise Ex-hibition at Olympia on March 24 and 25.
The business, started by Lynsey Hart after the birth of her first son, has gone from strength to strength with more than 1,000 customers so far. Some have come from as far as Birmingham and Lincolnshire to have casts made of children’s tiny hands and feet, while others have sent their framed keepsakes to distant relatives in places such as Hong Kong, the USA and New Zealand.
Babyprints moved in-to franchising with its first franchise opening in July 2004 in Potters Bar. Now, the company has 12 franchisees nationwide, one in Madrid, Spain, and is looking to take on between five and 10 franchisees every year.
