The Old Fashioned Franchise Association is pleased to announce the formation of a Franchise Association designed to represent the interests of the U.S. franchisees of Wendy’s International, Inc. as we work with management of Wendy’s International to restore historic margins and sales trends for the entire Wendy’s System. Currently representing over 760 restaurants, with members spread across the continental United States, the Association is a non-discriminatory body devoted to representing the interests of all Franchisees, from the single restaurant owner to those well in excess of 100 restaurants. The OFFA offers its members a forum to discuss strategic vision, supply chain, distribution, legal, financial and operational issues and a platform to share these concerns with management, ensuring the voice of the franchisees is heard as we pursue our common goal of strengthening both Franchisee and total System restaurant performance through the adoption of a “best practices” approach.
The interim Board of Directors and member Franchisees of the OFFA welcome the three new members of the Board of Directors of Wendy’s International who have recently joined our System in March of 2006. We look forward to working closely with both old and new members of the Board of Directors and management of Wendy’s International, Inc. as we strive to restore Wendy’s preeminence as the highest quality QSR System serving the American consumer.
