A Telford courier company is celebrating ten years in business — as it rolls out a nationwide franchise. Jaguar Couriers has been operating from its Halesfield 22 base in Telford for ten years, and with head office business now exceeding 20,000 deliveries per year, is set to expand the successful Jaguar Couriers formula across the whole of the UK.
Commercial director Andy Davies said the 24-hour, seven days a week telephone-manned service was originally launched to provide courier services to local companies.
He added: “Its services are now recognised and respected by companies throughout the region for their speed, flexibility and reliability.
Jaguar’s vehicles run throughout the UK and Europe carrying time-critical consignments. The company’s services also include overnight pallets, international freight, European groupage, as well as storage, warehousing, pick-pack and assembly projects.
For over two years Andy and managing director David Cheeseman have been working to produce a platform to expand Jaguar Couriers nationally.
Franchise consultancy FDS Midlands has been engaged to help design and launch the network and Jaguar Couriers has now started to recruit its first wave of franchisees.
Andy said: “The development of our unique business systems has taken more than ten years of hard work and determination, and have been proven to operate successfully. Territories are awarded by exclusive postcode regions.
Jaguar Couriers offers franchisees a turnkey package and an exclusive territory, backed up by “simple but effective administration systems, and the benefit of the company’s own ten years of experience.
