The Star:

Snappy Auctions has hired Nashville’s Concept Technology to provide a small business computer network for each new Snappy Auctions franchise. For the project, Concept Technology designed a prototypical franchise network that was duplicated and shipped to each new Snappy Auctions store.

Snappy Auctions, founded by Debbie Gordon, sells client goods on eBay through drop-off stores, managing the process from starting bid to pay-out. Gordon began franchising the concept in April of 2004. In January, she had 100 franchise agreements signed and 50 locations up and running.

Concept Technology, an information technology consulting firm founded in 2003, will monitor the networks remotely from its offices on Music Row.

“Computers are at the heart of our fast-growing, global franchise business,” said Gordon through a release.
