Firkin Pubs Coming to Newport News

Firkin Group of Pubs, the largest and fastest growing pub chain in the United States, is coming to the new “City Center at Oyster Point�? in Newport News, Va. Harry Daniel, a Suffolk resident of 12 years, bought the franchise rights to develop three Firkin Pubs in the area and will open the first in mid June.

“When I came across The Firkin Group of Pubs I was looking for a strong pub concept with good food that I could really get into with my son,�? says Daniel. “Since I was familiar with the beer industry and Firkin seemed to fit into the Hampton Roads area, we were a perfect match.�?

Daniel, a former Packaging Quality Assurance Manager for Anheuser-Busch, will open all three Firkin Pubs with his son, Greg.
