A garment factory from Porto Alegre, capital of the southernmost Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul (RS), found in the union of art and fashion a form of entering the wardrobes of consumers worldwide. Fragole produces clothes painted by artists and, despite having entered the export market just 5 years ago, already has products traded in 25 countries.

Fragole has been a pioneer in the hand-painted beachwear and resort wear industry, in business since 1995 and bringing a unique concept of blending art and functionality to the marketplace.

Passion and sensuality, combined to the exquisite work of accomplished Brazilian artists and fashion designers, result in the creation of exclusive styles for the sophisticated woman. Each piece is individually made and hand-painted by the artist, who then signs his/her masterpiece, thus creating a mesmerizing effect.

The collection includes bikinis, bathing suits, pareos, sarongs, beach skirts, shorts and pants, tops and bags and an infinite set of creations that add fluidity, beauty and class to the modern woman’s wardrobe.

Fragole’s choice of man-made and natural fiber fabrics that are light and flowing combined to our exclusive hand-painted patterns and delicate embroidery with natural elements, such as seashell and seeds, create a whole collection of beautifully hand-crafted masterpieces, which are appreciated and sought after the world over.

Besides a constant quest for high quality and sophisticated beauty, Fragole has always had a great sense of social responsibility, championing several community and internal programs for the betterment of the quality of life of their employees and the surrounding community.

The company products are distributed in around 400 points of sale in Brazil and there are plans to start an international franchise chain. The first stores should be opened on the Mexican coast.
