Jawitz Properties has been accepted as a member of the Franchise Association of Southern Africa (FASA) and is one of only seven real estate companies out of 1000 that has successfully complied with all the requirements.
Since 1980, FASA’s primary role has been to define the business of franchising and to ensure that all parties adhere to franchise ethics and business principles adopted and accepted internationally. FASA holds the distinction of being one of the first countries in the world to adopt a Code of Ethics and Business Practices that became amongst the most stringent in the world and which remains binding to this day. It is widely considered as being among the most stringent franchise codes in operation anywhere in the world.
As a member Jawitz Properties has committed to abide by the ethical standards as laid down by FASA and the international franchise community and has undertaken to provide a prospective franchisee with full disclosure of the three contractual pillars of franchising, namely the Disclosure Document, the Franchise Agreement and the Operations Manual.
“This means that potential franchisees will have peace of mind of knowing that they will be signing up with an ethical organisation whose company documentation has been scrutinised and vetted by a panel of industry experts.
