Meineke Car Care Centers Inc. has new software to allow franchises instant access to technical support from the company’s headquarters. It will connect Charlotte-based Meineke to its more than 850 automotive shops in the United States, South and Central America, Canada and China.
The LogMeIn Rescue software connects franchises to Meineke’s information technology support staff’s remote computers. That allows the support staff to more quickly diagnose and correct local franchise computer problems from Charlotte.
Meineke says the time needed to correct such problems have been cut down by half to less than 20 minutes. On average, Meineke’s help desk saves 33 man-hours a week because of the software.
LogMeIn Inc, a company that develops and markets remote access services, developed the LogMeIn Rescue software. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

I came across this page while searching for some fellow supporters of Logmein. I run a small IT firm, and LogMeIn programs have been absolutely instrumental in helping my business along. I’m not surprised Meineke chose them!
