The SBA Franchise Registry saw a large number of renewal and new applications in June. The Franchise Registry is the online listing of franchise systems whose franchisees receive expedited loan processing when applying for financial assistance from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
‘The Franchise Registry process authorizes all SBA District offices to accept a single nationwide review of the franchise agreements that franchisees will sign,’ said Darrell Johnson, CEO of FRANdata. ‘Because many franchisors update their franchise agreements in the spring of each year, there’s a corresponding busy season for the Franchise Registry during the early summer.’
