The Thailand Franchise & Business Opportunities Expo is poised to become the largest franchise fair in Asia next year, based on the number of exhibitors and visitors expected this year. The fair, which will be held from July 27 to 30 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Bitec), will host more than 130 companies at about 210 booths, according to Kavin Kittiboonya, managing director of the company organising the fair, Kavin Intertrade Co.
The first three days of the expo are open to trade, with the last day open to the public.Franchise holders from Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia and the United States will be showcasing their businesses at the event.
Exhibitors are being divided into 16 groups which include food and beverages, coffee, retail, IT and digital, printing, automobile related businesses, beauty and spa, education, vending machines, entertainment, real estate and financial services.
The company anticipated that there would be around 30,000 visitors at the four-day fair, including about 2,000 from overseas.
Besides the trade fair, Mr Kavin said the company was offering business matching through the website, www.thailandfranchising.com.
