United States based 1-800 Radiator opens their first international franchise. The franchise, located near Vancouver, Canada, is owned and operated by Ben Zhu. The growing auto parts distributor has over 80 locations in the United States and plans to continue opening up new territories in the United States and in Canada.Auto shops and do-it-yourselfers replaced approximately six million radiators last year in the United States alone. 1-800 Radiator delivers brand new radiators to these customers within a couple of hours, at competitive pricing, and with a lifetime warranty. This innovative business model has enabled them to become the largest independent direct distributor in the nation, growing from a small three million dollar company to one with over $64 million in revenue. A 1-800 Radiator franchise consists of a warehouse and a protected territory for each franchisee. Because these territories are proprietary there are only 250 franchises available in the United States. The company expects to award all 250 of these U.S. locations within the next three years. The company’s expansion into Canada provides entrepreneurs like Zhu with the opportunity to establish and grow successful businesses in an untapped market.

Zhu and the pioneering businessmen that follow his footsteps in Canada will be the first to offer all of 1-800 Radiator’s services to Canadian customers. Though the company previously sold some radiators internationally, this will be the first time that their signature same day delivery will be available to any customer outside the U.S.
