Small, bare-bones fitness centers are becoming giant revenue generators, appealing to customers wanting to pay low costs and work out at their convenience. Snap Fitness, an around-the-clock, scaled-down fitness center, has 132 centers open, an additional 100 sold and 40,000 members signed up since the 1st franchise sale in early 2004.
