Bar-B-Cutie has finalized an international master franchise agreement for locations in Spain.
Bar-B-Cutie and Family & Friends, and their owners Fran Baena, Daniel Baena and Victor Lluch Montesinos, now have the right to develop 20 locations in Spain. The group, led by Fran Baena, plan to open their flagship location in Valencia, Spain within a few months. The Nashville-based restaurant chain, founded in 1950, recently signed a 20-store franchise agreement in North Carolina and is talks to open stores in China. The company opened its franchise division in 2003.
The company requires an investment of $265,000 to $393,000 to open a Bar-B-Cutie franchise, excluding the cost of real estate if a free-standing unit is built.
