Excitement is “brewing” among coffee lovers and donut devotees throughout the Nashville market in anticipation of Dunkin’ Donuts’ return to the region.
The wait is over on Wednesday, August 23, when Dunkin’ Donuts brings its high quality bakery items, coffees and beverages to busy locals on the go with the opening of its first Nashville-area restaurant at 9100A Carothers Highway in Franklin, Tennessee. The new Franklin restaurant features both Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins under the same roof.According to Franklin store owner Joe Rando, Dunkin’ Donuts satisfies a growing demand in the Nashville market for quality coffee, baked goods and desserts that can be enjoyed any time of the day, fast and fresh and at reasonable prices. “We are bringing hard-working people in the area something we know they want: world class coffee, baked goods and desserts day or night, without long waits or high prices. When people all throughout the Nashville market need to take a break from their busy lives to revive themselves quickly and affordably, we are the fast and convenient place where they can come, morning, afternoon or evening,” he said. “We look forward to being a vibrant part of the community and serving great food and beverages to people who live and work here.
In celebration of Dunkin’ Donuts’ restaurant opening, Dunkin’ Donuts is making it easy for all Franklin residents and businesses to enjoy its great food and beverages by offering free rides on the Franklin Trolleys. In partnership with the Franklin Transit Authority, Franklin Trolleys will run on Dunkin’, with all rides on all routes completely free of charge (excluding flex service) beginning opening day, August 23, and continuing for one week through August 30.
Opening day festivities will include a 12:00 PM ribbon-cutting ceremony, with remarks by City of Franklin Mayor Tom Miller. Dunkin’ Donuts will also present a $1,000 donation to the GEAR Foundation, a Franklin-based organization that equips hardworking people with disabilities to be successful participants in their communities.
The Franklin opening marks a milestone in Dunkin’ Donuts’ expansion plans to triple the number of Dunkin’ Donuts stores nationwide to 15,000 by 2025. In the Nashville market, Dunkin’ Donuts plans to add as many as 100 new locations within the next few years.
