Five Planet Smoothie locations are under development in the Tampa Bay area, as the company makes a push to expand Florida operations.
In August it opened in the Shoppes at Park Place in Pinellas Park. Locally, it has another location in Clearwater. It currently has 43 locations in Florida and is developing 24 across the state. Planet Smoothie utilizes a master franchise growth strategy. This strategy, the company stated in a release, allows investors who are knowledgeable of the territory grow the brand more rapidly and consistently than building franchises one at a time.
Orlando is the brand’s best location in Florida. It has 14 franchisee partners in 25 locations.
