Australia’s Gloria Jean’s Coffees Sets Up Shop In Hungary

Australian coffee retailer, Gloria Jean’s Coffees has opened its first store in Hungary and plans to expand its network by three or four additional units this year, business daily Világgazdaság has reported on Friday.

According to medium-term plans, Gloria Jean’s will eventually have 18-20 franchise stores in the capital city and 30-35 all over the country. One could enter the franchise with cash of at least USD 300,00 and assets worth around USD 0.5-1.0 million.

The company is currently in search of a property where it could establish its roasting plant with EUR 2-5 million investment. Budapest is one of the possible locations.
