The Castro Israeli fashion chain will soon open its first two branches in the Far East: Yedioth Ahronoth has learned that the chain is set to launch two stores in Thailand’s capital Bangkok by November.

The first branch will open at the recently-renovated Siam Mall, one of the city’s leading shopping centers. A second store will be located at the newly-opened Plaza Mall. The huge stores will offer women’s and men’s wear, shoes and accessories.

The branches will be operated by a local franchiser involved in the Thai fashion industry.

Up until today, Castro has marketed its products in Bangkok department stores. According to Gabi Rotter, Castro’s CEO, following a year of operations the chain will look into the possibility of opening more stores in the city. Castro currently operates 28 branches worldwide
