National franchisor Betta Stores (BSL) today announced it had added another three superstores to the group under its revitalisation program.

The outlets joining the superstore program, at Bundberg, Maroochydore and Mackay, range in size from 1,000sqm to 2,000sqm and boost the number of BSL superstores to nine.

BSL committed at the group’s national conference earlier this year to adding 12 new superstores by May 2007, which would bring the total to 18.

“That’s three superstores down and I can say we’re well on track to delivering the remaining nine as promised,” says BSL chief executive Guy Houghton.

“We’reconstantly receiving expressions of interest from our leading retailers in upgrading to superstores.”

Superstores, run by blue-chip BSL retailers, average around 1,000sqm in showroom size and represent the very best in customer service, displays, presentation and product range.

Everard Johnson, co-owner of the three new Superstores with business partner Ian Murden, said customers had embraced the Superstore concept.

BSL has three existing Superstores at Aspley in Brisbane and Morayfield north of Brisbane.
