Americans Trade Home-Cooked Meals For Restaurants

More Americans are relying on restaurants to cook for them, especially given the fact that once they crunch the numbers and factor in the meal prep time, the cost is about the same.

Fueled in part by 60% of mothers working outside the home, within the next 10 years Americans will spend more than half of their budgeted food dollars on eating outside the home, one industry group says.
