Leading bakery franchise operator Brumby’s Bakeries Ltd will have stores opening in airports around Australia under a landmark deal with service provider Spotless.
Some airports in Australia will feature the new Brumby’s Go! stores – a ‘baked to go’ fresh food concept with a product range centered around sandwiches, sweet pastries, pies and pasties, muffins, scrolls and fresh coffee to go.
The first store will open at Brisbane International Airport.
Brumby’s managing director Michael Sherlock said it was an exciting time for Brumby’s.
“This deal will make the Brumby’s brand even more recognisable to Australian customers, as well as introduce the company’s preservative-free, bread baked fresh concept to a whole new audience – overseas visitors to Australia,� Mr Sherlock said.
“It also puts Brumby’s in an enviable position, being the only major bakery franchise in Australian airports. It will allow Brumby’s to continue its amazing growth.�
Spotless Airports’ National Development Manager Ruth Roebuck said they were glad to have Brumby’s on board.
