Now that your part of a prolific franchise system, your site is up and running and you’re ready to go. Here are some tips of what you should be doing and should not:

1. Do not be hands off - Although most franchise systems are simple to operate, you still need to learn the ins and outs of the business. After all, it is your business. You need somehow to assure that it operates the way it is meant to, you need a vested party. There is no one going to look out for your business if you don’t, especially in the beginning.

2. Do not think you know the business better then we do - There are too main reasons people join a franchise, 1 is to make money, and 2 is to have the security of the franchisor’s experience. He has spent years perfecting his concept, so he has an idea of what he’s doing.

3. Do ask for help - That’s why you joined a franchise system in 1st place. Don’t think because you have your own business your going at it alone. Your franchisor wants you to succeed, so when you find yourself in need of assistance pick up that phone, he should be there to help at any time.
