Competition is brewing in the meal-prep industry, which market leader Super Suppers is using as a motivator to keep its franchise business strong. Franchise startup fees in the meal-prep sector run, on average, about $30,000 less than the typical quickservice franchise startup fee of about $180,000, according to the founders of Super Suppers and the International Franchise Association.
