zpizza, the Southern California based gourmet pizza chain recently announces its new online ordering program. Currently in full swing in nine zpizza locations across the country, the online ordering option was in testing phase for eight weeks before its launch. During that time, the option garnered a wide customer following on both the east and west coasts and a hefty sales volume for testing stores.

“zpizza continues to focus on being at the forefront of innovation among the fast casual brands, says Chris Bright, zpizza President. “We know that online ordering is the next big thing in the industry and we look forward to sharing the convenience with our nationwide customer base.

The online ordering option is currently available at zpizza locations in California, Virginia and Vermont. It will eventually be rolled out in additional stores across the country.

Often referred to as the Baja Fresh or Panera Bread of the pizza industry, zpizza takes a unique approach to the crowded pizza segment, offering a large selection of premium quality and creative pizzas. zpizza’s menu offers 17 tasty and adventurous pizzas as well as sandwiches, salads, calzones and the opportunity to create your own pizza with a selection of crusts—including whole wheat, sauces, cheeses and toppings.
