Hair Cuttery, the nation’s largest privately held chain of full-service, value-priced hair salons announced today that it is expanding its franchise offering to include single unit opportunities. Tom Fihe, Vice President of Hair Cuttery Franchising, described the change as “an exciting opportunity for persons who are interested in a low-cost, high-performance business. A typical Hair Cuttery Franchisee will now need to invest as little as $50,000 of personal capital for a single unit.
Previously, Hair Cuttery exclusively pursued multi-unit agreements where franchisees committed to developing a minimum of five units and sometimes as many as forty units. With the recent announcement, Hair Cuttery lessens the investment made by franchisees, making the franchise opportunity readily available to more persons in some of the more desirable parts of the country.
Hair Cuttery Franchising will continue to offer multi unit opportunities along with the new single unit option. The amount of units that a franchisee can commit to is dependent upon market conditions, the franchisee’s personal capital and management experience.
