Loco Joe has competitive advantage:
* While there are others in the field, no one has gone all out to challenge Starbucks. While it is not their intent to run them into the ground, it is their plan to challenge them for a reasonable market share;

* They plan to advertise. To have a promotional campaign strategy and a name star to go along with it. Stephen Baldwin is their voice on radio, their face on television and their strongest supporter in the field of charitable giving;
* They see Charitable Giving as an important element that will help spread their name and the name of the products they manufacture across the globe. They are trying to provide a way for those who need help to get it, while at the same time enjoying a variety of safe, nutritious products from a reputable company;
* Value! It is their plan to provide superior more diversified product, with longer shelf life, lower prices and greater volumes. This will benefit the consumer, the retailer, the broker, the company and the charities they elect to serve.

Mr. William Richards, CEO of Charity Beverage and LOCO JOE was sentenced on January 12, 2007 to 5 years probation for miss appropriation of funds, $1.5 million judgment for restitution to 40 Distributors and he can never do business in New Jersey again. If he breaks his probation he goes to jail for 10 years.
Since the charges only covered up till 12/31/2005, those that have been scammed since 1/1/2006 (4-5 identified investing almost $300,000) will have to get the NY or NJ Prosecutors office to file additional charges on their behalf.
During the guilty plea hearing it appears that Mr. Richards has not paid his IRS taxes. The Bergen County Prosecutor said he would turn his evidence over to the IRS after Mr. Richards sentencing on 1/12/2007.
Your endorsement of this man and his product should be taken down immediately or left here with my comments so others do not make the mistake that I and other made by investing in this scam.
