Redbox, a maker of automated DVD rental kiosks, announced on Thursday that it has signed an agreement to install its machines in McDonald’s restaurants, following a successful two-year test.
Redbox kiosks, which charge $1 per night per rental, are now featured in more than 800 McDonald’s restaurants in six markets. Over the past year, the kiosks have generated more than 15 million rentals.
Illinois-based Redbox said its kiosks will begin appearing at McDonald’s restaurants in select new U.S. markets early next year.

They don’t allow you to “own” a red box you can however rent out space within your place of business for red box to place their machine. You can a % of sales but do not get to own one.
