Peach’s Rise & Dine Restaurants has awarded a development agreement for a minimum of 20 locations in Dallas/Ft. Worth.
The recipient is Dallas-based PR&D of DFW Inc. It is led by Joseph Spates of Prosper, Texas, an experienced, multiple-unit restaurant operator and developer, a release said. He opened a CiCi’s Pizza franchise in Texas in 1993 and in 1996, became CiCi’s first franchisee in Florida as a multi-unit operator.
In 2004, Spates and a partner purchased the rights to develop 100 Firehouse Subs franchises in Dallas/Ft. Worth. The partnership has opened four Firehouse Subs, has one under construction and has signed agreements for 26 more.
The first Peach’s Rise & Dine franchise opened in November 2006 in Sarasota and the corporate headquarters is in Bradenton. The first 10 Peach’s Restaurants on Florida’s Gulf Coast are licensed affiliates of Peach’s Rise & Dine.
