Franchises Differ On Gift Policies

As the holiday season settles in many families ponder appropriate ways to give thanks to at-home caregivers for their services. The owner of New Jersey-based home-care franchise Right at Home says his office doesn’t allow employees to accept gifts from patients, while similar franchise group Visiting Angels does allow gifts but asks that they be made through the local office.
