I’ve only been a bulk vender for a few years, so I don’t know every aspect of the biz, but one thing I can tell you is that 4-select (or even U-turn’s 8-select models) are much more than most locations need. Quite frankly, there aren’t that many types of candy that sell well. Most locations can make due with 1 or 2 different products. When you get to 3 or more candy products, you are just wasting your time and money.
Speaking of money, U-Turn machines are NOT cheap and like I said, too much machine for the job. It would be cheaper to buy a good single product machine and mount it on a rack or stand with one or two other machines. You can get 4 good american made (those are the best kind) single product machines and a rack/stand for less than the price of the smallest u-turn.
