
In an attempt to steal some buzz from Starbucks, Coca-Cola is teaming with the country’s No. 2 coffeehouse chain, Caribou Coffee Co., for the launch this summer of a ready-to-drink iced coffee beverage.
Meanwhile, Starbucks, which controls the ready-to-drink coffee market via a partnership with PepsiCo, soon will roll out vending machines serving hot coffee drinks in a can.
