McDonald’s Corp. reported solid increases in global and domestic comparable-store sales for December, the fourth quarter and fiscal year 2006 periods, which ended Dec. 31.
According to a regulatory filing, global comps rose 7.2 percent in December, up 5 percent from Dec. 2005. Global comps for 4Q ’06 and the full year rose 6.3 percent and 5.7 percent, respectively.
In the United States, comps rose 6.9 percent for December; in the Asia/Pacific, Middle East and Africa, December comps increased 4.8 percent.
