The founders of Southern Health Partners, Inc. (SHP), the leading provider of outsourced correctional health care for small to medium-sized jails, have launched a new company based on a franchise business model. SHP’s new sister company, MedGuard Health Services, Inc. (MedGuard), is the first franchise-based business to operate in the correctional health care industry.
