New Look, the privately-owned UK fashion retailer, said it has signed a new Middle East regional franchise deal with the Landmark Group that will see 40 stores opened over the next five years.
The stores will be located throughout the region, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Aradia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and Jordan.
New Look said it took the decision to further expand its franchise in the Middle East following the success of a trial store in Deira City Centre, Dubai, which opened last September.
The retailer currently trades from 568 stores in the UK and Ireland and 232 stores in France, trading as Mim. It also has eight New Look branded stores in France and Belgium.
Last month the group said it could return to the stock market this year.
