Anne Brown (photo) sees her product everywhere she goes in Novato. She owns Embroid-Me, a franchise that will stitch, press, print or weave your logo onto or into just about anything a client can think of.
From a block ‘N’ to a mustang to corporate symbols, she puts a personalized stamp on Novato’s clothing, pens and towels. ‘Our main thing is logos – we take a business logo and translate it into an embroidery for them,’ she said. She’s got a 5-head industrial sewing machine that can embroider everything from a simple gold ‘N’ for Novato High to a complex, 40,000-stitch crest. There’s also a hot press, for affixing logos onto clothes. Everything she can’t do in-store, she can order.
The business is going well – after 6 months in business, she’s looking for another employee. Wanted: someone who can work well with computers, sewing machines, school volunteers and more. Full story.
