SearchPath Opens First Office In San Antonio

San Antonio businessman Oscar Obledo has opened a new medical device executive search firm in the city.

Obledo opened a franchise office of SearchPath International, a Cleveland-based company that franchises talent acquisition professional services firms.

Since SearchPath International launched in September 2005, the franchisor has sold 40 offices in the first 18 months. The company also has commitments from franchise owners to open 20 more locations.

Obledo is the new president of SearchPath of San Antonio. Prior to opening his own business, Obledo was the division manager of medical devices for Management Recruiters International in San Antonio.

He specializes in identifying professionals with specialized backgrounds in the medical device industry and placing them in strategic hiring assignments.

“Oscar is a great addition to our growing team, particularly within our medical device and medical technology practice group,” says SearchPath International CEO Thomas K. Johnston. “His experience and leadership in executive search will strengthen our network of consultants.
