Zpizza, the Southern California based gourmet pizza chain, recently signed a multi-unit franchise agreement with entrepreneur Dennis Huntley. Mr. Huntley, an experienced real estate investor, plans to open seven units in Denver, Colorado—the first location is scheduled to open by the end of 2007.

“zpizza fits into the Denver area perfectly because it attracts the young, health conscious, upwardly mobile crowd, says Huntley. “Locals in the city live healthy lifestyles and enjoy great food. They have been missing out by not having a zpizza near them.

Featured on Good Morning America as a healthy dining option, zpizza takes a unique approach to the crowded pizza segment by appealing to traditional pizza lovers, health conscious consumers and gourmet palates alike. zpizza’s menu offers 17 tasty and adventurous pizzas as well as sandwiches, salads, calzones and the opportunity to create your own pizza with a selection of premium ingredients —including whole wheat, organic sauces, low-fat cheeses, veggies and toppings.

“zpizza’s popularity is growing by leaps and bounds nationwide because of its innovative take on the gourmet pizza segment, said Chris Bright, zpizza president. “We are very excited to be in Denver and looking forward to sharing our pizza with the rest of Colorado as soon as possible.
