
When the doors open March 30 for the International Franchise Expo, the crowd will learn the name of the 700th U.S. military veteran to acquire a franchised-small business via the ‘VetFran’ program.
The Veterans Transition Franchise Initiative represents a voluntary effort undertaken by nearly 250 of the 1,200 member-companies of the International Franchise Association.
The program offers financial incentives to help veterans become franchise business owners. The 3-day Expo will be conducted at the Washington, D.C. Convention Center, March 30 through April 1.
