mobile-butchery.jpgBusinessman Johnny Sexwale and his partner Adriano de Moura have launched a new franchise system, the Mobile Butchery through their company Franchise Business Innovations.

The Mobile Butchery is a 2-and-a-half-ton fully equipped and branded refrigerated truck. The truck comes pre-loaded with initial stock and those who join the franchise will receive comprehensive training on running the business.

‘Meat is a product that are is every day in most South African households,’ said Sexwale. ‘This is what will make the business a success.’

Mobile Butchery is a simple, inexpensive and profitable franchise. For less than R500 000.00, the prospective Franchisee is able to get a fully equipped, branded two and a half ton refrigerated vehicle. The Franchisee is allocated a territory where he can supply Fresh processed and Processed Meats to Butcheries, Shops, Spazas, Restaurants, Hospitals, Schools, Catering Companies, Weddings, Funerals, Functions, Homes etc.

The Franchisees have a choice of more than 250 products. They include: Beef; Mutton; Pork; Bacon; Ham; Polony; Viennas; Russians etc.

Because business is conducted from the back of the truck, franchisees will not have to pay for rent, electricity or water and these savings will add to their profits.

Mobile Butchery will initially roll out in Gauteng, Free State and Mpumalanga. Other provinces will follow at a later stage.

Franchise Business Innovations looks for new, inexpensive yet profitable franchising opportunities, with the Mobile Butchery being the first venture.

It expects to launch more than 80 Mobile Butchery franchises by 2009, creating about 200 direct jobs and more than 50 indirect jobs in the process.
