McDonald’s Holdings Co Japan said Tuesday its monthly sales hit 43.05 billion yen in March — the highest level in the company’s 36-year history.
The operator of 3,828 restaurants attributed the record sales to its strategy of introducing a new regular menu and limited-season products, such as the Mega-Mac, as well as offering round-the-clock services.
It also said the remodeling of restaurants to include more comfortable dining spaces contributed to the increase in sales.
