Military Veterans Make Ideal Candidates For Franchising

Some business authorities believe that franchising is a training school for anyone who hopes to make it in business independently. It’s also an excellent business model for those who have maturity, capital, good credit and the ability and willingness to work within the rules and regulations - qualities that are a great match for military veterans.

During the International Franchise Expo now under way, the 700th veteran to acquire a franchise will be recognized.

The Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce and its affiliates, trying to modernize their models of operation to reflect the nation’s movement toward a service and informtion economy, are working toward creating a city that will be attractive to the modern American workforce.

‘We have the ingredients for economic development,’ said GKCC President John Crutchfield. ‘It’s just a matter of keeping up to date. It’s a great problem to have, far better than in some places I’ve been where the question is, There’s nothing here. How can we make something happen?’ Read on.
