Jim Amos is chief executive officer of Tasti D-Lite, which is based in Manhattan and the headquarters office for which the businessman is in the process of moving to Franklin.
The former president and CEO of Mail Boxes Etc., Amos moved to Franklin in 2002 with the intent to buy Thomas Nelson Publishing. Although that effort failed to materialize, Amos and his daughter, Heather Rose, have since purchased a company that is now known as Sona MedSpa and whose corporate headquarters are located in Franklin.
Amos, 62, is the author of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Franchising and is a graduate of the University of Missouri.
Why did you choose to move to Middle Tennessee after selling Mail Boxes Etc. to UPS?

It’s funny… it’s seems that every top franchise executive once worked for UPS Store or MailBoxes Etc.. These 2 companies (which actally are the same companies) are probably better than the CFE program… lol
