AFTER establishing its mark in the local retail industry, a Cebuano-grown brand is mulling plans to enter the international market.
Loalde, which sells sophisticated apparel, plans to open branches in Malaysia and Singapore in the next couple of months, said Jay Aldeguer, Alde-guer Group of Companies (AGC) president (not executive vice president as earlier reported). He also said that the company is currently under negotiations with potential partners for a possible franchise operation.
Success stories in franchising will be discussed during the 1st Cebu Regional Retail and Franchise Conference, which will open today and will end tomorrow with discussions on franchising.
