Stephen and Sandra Welkener sold their 4-bedroom, 4 bath in Sunset Hills at 10564 Anton Pl. for $905,000 to Thomas Kraska and his wife, Susan on Mar. 12.
The Welkeners paid $245,000 for the 3,561 square foot home in Oct. 2000.
Mr. Kraska, 46, is the President of K&S Associates, Inc., a general contractor that has been in business in St. Louis since 1972. K&S has successfully completed over $500 million of commissioned work in the last decade. Notable projects include one of the control towers at St. Louis Lambert International Airport as well as the Southwest Airlines terminal.
Mr. Welkener, 52, recently opened a Melt Gelato & Crepe Cafe restaurant in Mid Rivers Mall. Melt Gelato serves gelato, sorbetto and crepes in addition to coffee and smoothies. Mr. Welkener was the company’s first Missouri franchisee. There are now four stores in the area.
The Welkeners recently bought a home for $380,000 at 10564 Anton Pl. on March 13 in the Concord area.
