In light of the recent wildfires in their areas, Whataburger restaurants in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia announced that they are providing free Whatameals to all uniformed firemen. Beginning last week, nine Whataburger stores in Jacksonville, Starke, Yulee, Fleming Island and Brunswick are providing the meals as a show of appreciation for firefighters’ commitment and dedication to protecting the homes and residents of their communities.
The free Whatameal offer is for all uniformed firemen, effective immediately until further notice. The nine participating Whataburger locations in Florida and Georgia are owned by the JWB Ventures Franchise.
“We are extremely grateful for the hard work and sacrifices firemen make every day to protect our communities, and they’re working especially hard right now to fight these blazes,” said Paul Kraszeski, President of JWB Ventures. “If a free Whatameal can help show our appreciation and make their lives a little easier, then we’re more than happy to do that.
