A CLEAN, tidy image – that’s the focus for 1300RUBBISH, a waste removal business that recently began operating in Brisbane.
The company’s point of difference is its creation of a strong brand highlighting a polished and professional image.
“We’re setting the market trend,” director Geordie Gill says. “We wanted to bring up the standard of the industry (because) it’s a bit grubby.”
1300RUBBISH employs 15 fulltime staff and has hundreds of subcontractors all in clean, bright red uniforms. Their bright red, branded trucks enhance the image.
The business was established in 1989 by James Gill and was first franchised in 2003, when brothers Geordie and Hamish signed up.
“1300RUBBISH offers a hands-on removal system,” Mr Gill says. “We come into any property, anytime.
