Rose Group To Grow As Franchisee For Another Chain

The Rose Group plans to open as many as 25 Corner Bakery Café locations in the Philadelphia region, it said Tuesday.The Rose Group, of Newtown, Pa., is best known locally as owner and operator of 54 Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bars in eastern Pennsylvania and Maryland.

The company will help roll out Corner Bakery Cafés for Dallas-based CBC Restaurant Corp., owner of the cafés. In coming years, Rose will open 25 locations in the Philadelphia-South Jersey market.
