Savannah’s First Ruth’s Chris Steak House To Open In Early 2008

Ruth’s Chris Steak House announced Monday it will open its first Savannah restaurant in the News Place At Ellis Square in the heart of the Historic District.

‘We were looking to expand and Savannah was a logical choice,’ said franchisee Jeff Conway. ‘We just fell in love with this News Place project. There’s so much energy here.’

Conway and his wife, Paula, are the owners of Charlotte Prime, which operates 2 Ruth’s Chris restaurants in Charlotte, N.C.
