Clockwork Home Services, Inc.today announced that its One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating unit (One Hour) has been ranked 14th among US companies with breakthrough potential in Entrepreneur’s recently-published 2007 list of “Top New Franchises.”

Entrepreneur compiles its Top New Franchises list based on companies’ financial strength and stability, growth rate and size of the franchise system. Other considerations include the number of years in business and length of time franchising, startup costs, low employee turnover and whether the company provided financing. The Top New Franchises list is comprised of 50 franchises that Entrepreneur identified as “rising stars” among companies which began franchising since 2002 and were also on Entrepreneur’s 2007 Franchise 500, which was published in the magazine’s January 2007 issue.
Entrepreneur initially published its Franchise 500 in 1980. That comprehensive list is published annually and ranks companies in several categories:
