Most Malaysians would probably have eaten curry puffs countless times, but not many can lay claim to having tried unique variations like Crispy Durian Puff or Crispy Crab Chilli Chicken Puff.

1A Crispy Puffs (Selangor) Sdn Bhd is an outlet that offers unique crispy puffs of both sweet and savoury varieties, like Crispy Curry Puff, Crispy Otah Puff (with fish and spice fillings), Crispy Veggie Puff and Crispy Sweet Corn Puff.

‘1A Crispy Puffs was established in 1991 by Ow Soon Pooh, who had worked as a chef in Chinese restaurants for 20 years before venturing out on his own to create his favourite food – the curry puff,’ said director Karen Low.

‘With 12 outlets located in various shopping malls in Singapore, Ow was looking into expanding his business to other countries like Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia via a franchise concept.
